Dedicated to Agriculture

Flying Acres Ag, LLC was founded after owners Bryan and Kaitlynn Hammis spent three years in operations with their aerial drone application company (Flying Acres, LLC). Our goal as a certified dealership is to help our customers and community have the experience and opportunity to use this advancing technology on their own operations. Our team is here to help individuals from all different walks of life get a chance to grow in the same industry that we have.

Bryan Hammis, (co-founder of Flying Acres Ag, LLC) began his journey in agriculture over 19 years ago when he began working on a local farm while attending high school. He then continued his education and love for agriculture while continuing to work in the agriculture industry while also attending college for agricultural operations. From there the decision was made to start an aerial application company.

Katilynn Hammis, (co-founder of Flying Acres Ag, LLC and wife of Bryan Hammis) also began her journey in agriculture from a very early age. Growing up on her family's small hobby farm she quickly fell deeply in love with agriculture and livestock which later helped her transition into working  seven years on a dairy farm, while attending the same college for agriculture where she met her now husband, Bryan.

Both Bryan and Kaitlynn have spent years of their lives committed to agriculture and being stewards of the land. After years of operating their own aerial drone application company, they decided to open a certified agriculture drone dealership for their customers and surrounding agriculture communities.

It used to be that aerial application was only done by manned aircrafts, making it only available to select individuals. Many Michigan farm fields wouldn’t even be looked at from manned aircraft applicators for a number of reasons; the field was too small, too many obstacles, odd shaped fields, etc. Since the introduction of drones to the aerial application industry the options are almost endless on where they can go and what they can do. Small fields - no problem. Odd shaped fields - easy peasy. Obstacles  - can work around them safely and efficiently keeping the manned aircraft safe as well.

The main goal of the dealership has and always will be to be the Industry Standard that drone applicators and other dealers should strive to become. Working with a team dedicated to their customers' success goes hand in hand.
